The news of the passing of Dallas Stokes, a devoted husband, father, and member of his community, has left many in shock and mourning. For those who knew him, it's hard to put into words the impact he had on their lives. Born in Washington, DC, Dallas grew up in Metuchen, New Jersey, before moving to North Brunswick and later Cary, Illinois. He eventually settled in Freehold Township with his loving wife of 25 years, Lynne Stokes, and their two beautiful children, Maddison R. and Dallas Kristian. His family was the center of his universe, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Dallas's life was a testament to his infectious enthusiasm and love for life. He was an avid Jets fan, and his passion for sports was just one aspect of his larger-than-life personality. A lifelong visitor to Long Beach Island, Dallas knew how to find joy in the simple things, like spending time with loved ones and enjoying the beauty of nature.

As a member of Peter's Episcopal Church, Dallas served on the finance committee and vestry for the past twelve years, demonstrating his commitment to his faith and community. His professional career spanned several companies, including Firmenich, BBA, Quest, and IFF, before he became Vice President of Sales for Mane USA in Wayne, NJ.

Dallas was also a proud alumnus of Metuchen High School Class of 1983 and Rider College Class of 1988. He left an indelible mark on those who knew him, from his siblings to his nieces and nephews, who affectionately remember him as a wonderful example.

In addition to his family, Dallas's friends and acquaintances will miss his quick wit, infectious humor, and ability to bring people together. His love of life was contagious, and he inspired others to live with purpose and passion.
